I can't type in the blog from my iPad. I have to put in the text using the HTML editing tool and let the program read it and default back to just the letters.
So,i bought the ipad today. I thought it was going to be great thing for me and my Internet experience. I have said for years that someone should make a computer that is touch screen and durable. Apple got the mechanics right on the ipad and for the most part they have gotten the software done pretty well.
I am disappointed that the apple folks didnt actually take the time to write a new os for the iPad and that they are lazy lazy lazy. Yet the basic functionality is acceptable with a few short comings.
the obvious refusal to allow basic browser Programs such as flash andthirdpartyplug INS to run in the safari web browser. This is a big fail! It's a fail because steve jobs said in his keynote speech that the device will givew the user e best experience and most oval experience of using the web. This is not the truth and it really is far from it. Thelack of functionality with non apple approved web pages and downloads or plugins is a huge liability and makes the use of the iPad very fustraiting.
The apps are beautifull and the graphics are amazing. It is a wondrous experience, as long as you don't intended to actually usetheinternet in free mode. I mean gmail and this blog tool don't work correctly! Therefore i, again, call apple and steve jobs a tyrannical company with only the advancement of their bank accounts in mind. It's ironic that one of the most celebrated companies in the world for progressive and free thinking is actually only controlled by it's purse strings. Capitalism is what apple secretly is utilizing utilizing every aspect of tyranny they can get their hands on. Wow, what a joke.
Steve Jobs and Apple, I say to you, SET MY PEOPLE FREE!!!!! Stop dictating to us what you want bus to do and see and let us decide for ourselves!
